The launch of the Ukrainian communications satellite "Lybid-1" may occur in the first quarter of 2015, according to the national Council of Ukraine on television and radio.

Satellite "Lybid" - the first Ukrainian geostationary telecommunications satellite. Is intended to provide services to regional and international broadcasting, direct broadcasting, services, multimedia and the Internet, as well as providing data, telephony, video-based VSAT.
