Experts of mobile networks and digital broadcasting: defence of diploma

The quality of professional training in the field of mobile communications determines the future of technologies. This shows the great importance of education in this direction. Universities and colleges prepare Specialists in the area of wireless broadband technologies. They offer a variety of training courses, specialties and profiles.

In The State University of Telecommunications at the Department of radio technologies are trained specialists in one of the best specialties "Mobile telecommunications and digital television systems". This specialization includes the latest wireless technology providing mobile multimedia and information services on tablets, smartphones and other smart devices of new generation of computing devices. Primary posts of this specialty:

  • an engineer means of radio and television,
  • an engineer for the implementation and operation of the latest mobile and wireless networks,
  • a technical specialist in video and audio installation,
  • technical support engineer of mobile and cordless network equipment.

Training of specialists in technology field of mobile media services performed for cellular operators («Vodafone UA» , "Kyivstar GSM", "Astelit"), Internet Service Providers,  "Sattelekom" LLC wireless operators.

June 9 at the Center for High Information and Communication Technologies Department of radio technologies, students group of RTD-41 who study at this specialization, Petrychenko Michael Sosnowski Ilya, Primak Andrew Ortikov Vladislav, Olenich Dmitry, Kukos Sergey, whiling away Anton Klinovsky Nikita Ivanichenko Alex Tooth Bogdan Bortnik and Anton successfully defended their first undergraduate work.

State Examinations Commission noted creative works of Sosnowski Ilya, Kukos Sergei, Klinovsky Nikita, Ivanichenko Alexey, Anton Bortnik.

Kukos Sergei study of the technical aspects of the construction and features of the use of modern IP cameras. Today the number of people who are experienced of using IP-cameras surveillance has been steadily increasing, IP video is no longer a novelty in nowadays. Users can use IP cameras to work as a standard web browser or special software for network surveillance, which usually comes bundled with the camera.

That is why this issue is relevant and at the moment, each user, depending on the camera settings and their personal and network security policy, can establish access to the video data from the IP-cameras. And vice versa chamber may have open access for all users on the network, such as in the case of network cameras in places with world-famous landmarks.

Most of newest IP-cameras have the additional functionality such as:

• speaker

• microphone

• motion sensors

• opportunity to connection of any special sensors

• opportunity to sending by e-mail messages

• work with the modem.

 

This way you can solve any complex control problems automatically operating equipment, such as work under the ground. IP-surveillance system solves the problem of complete visual control over events in the absence of people.

         The aim of the bachelor work of Klinovsky Nikita is conduct comprehensive research of construction of the studio features Internet TV and traditional TV broadcasting. The paper analyzes the structure of the web studio. It describes the basic equipment that is used in the studio to record the video, which is broadcast on the Internet. Also, was considered features of video editing. Considered the variants of equipment for the construction of budget studio, that is not inferior to the quality of conventional television stations, provides basic definition Internet TV and its advantages over other types of television.

 

Bortnik Anton qualifying work review the technical aspects of one of the possible options to provide high-speed access to the Internet for rural areas in Ukraine. Considered the construction of networks of cellular mobile radio communication of the fourth generation (4G).

The most relevant standard for 4G solutions of this task is the LTE wireless technology. LTE (Long Term Evolution) - technology of construction of wireless communication networks, created in the framework of cooperation in the development of third generation networks 3GPP (3G Partnership Project). The main goal of the development of LTE technology: reducing the cost of data transmission, increased data rate, the possibility of providing greater range of services at a lower cost, increasing network flexibility and use of existing mobile communication systems.

LTE radio interface provides improved performance, including maximum data transfer rate of more than 300 Mbit / s, the time delay packet forwarding at least 5 ms, and much higher spectral efficiency compared to existing third generation mobile wireless access standards (3G).
