All of you know that IT DUT School - is one of the projects of the Student Council of the State University of Telecommunications. As part of this school, were fascinating scientific training for students ( «Linux. Command tape. Basic operations using the command line", "Basic UI / UX Design", "Fundamentals of Architecture servers", "Fault-tolerant Web clusters »," Microsoft Azure. first steps ", etc.). But we do not stop!

A graduate of our University Sergey Korolenko eagerly helps IT DUT School develop. It is for our students discovered something new: team competition with information security - CAPTURE THE FLAG.

Do you want to test and improve their knowledge in cyber security? February 25, 2016 The First CTF competition at our university for our students. Participants will perform at the speed problem levels associated with encryption, steganography, analysis of network packets, finding information from public sources, and the exploitation of the most common web application vulnerabilities. 

Capture the Flag (Capture the flag, CTF) - is a team competition in data security. Since this is the first event in our university, the participants will be performing for himself.

During the competition, participants will be offered levels related to various aspects of information security. Result of level solution - flag (password / key). For each participant handed the flag gets points depending on the complexity of the task. A total of 15 jobs in cost from 100 to 900 points.
