May 27, 2016 during a visit to Ukraine NATO Deputy Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, Ambassador Sorin Dukaru in the Big Hall of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine held an information day NATO Science Programme "Science for Peace and Security."
The work Information Day was attended by the Ambassador, NATO Deputy Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges Sorin Dukaru, rukovoditelnitsa Office of the NATO program "Science for Peace and Security" Deniz Beten, Advisor to the President of Ukraine for Humanitarian Affairs, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Health 'I, MP Ukraine Olga Bogomolets, first Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Volodymyr Horbulin, vice president of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, NAS of Ukraine Anatoly Zagorodny, and Head of the Department of information and cyber security Educational-scientific Institute of Information security State University of telecommunications Burachok Vladimir Leonidovich.
During the session "NATO program" Science for Peace and Security "in Ukraine: the continuing cooperation and achievements" Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Maksym Strikha made a presentation on the state of science in Ukraine and cooperation with the program "Science for Peace and Security."
Participants had the opportunity to meet with key provisions of the NATO program "Science for Peace and Security," the mechanisms of its implementation, the practice of using NATO grants to fund promising research on the subject of safety, get practical advice on the procedures for submission of applications.
