March 26, 2014 the regular meeting of the Academic Council of the State University of Telecommunications, where the current issues of further development of the university: the creation of the Department of Space systems and facilities and satellite telecommunications, the re-accreditation of the individual areas of training and other issues of everyday life of the institution.

Another decision of the Academic Council of the State University of Telecommunications supported the initiative of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" work of the nomination "The system of local and global dynamic monitoring of environmental parameters real-time " for the State Prize of Ukraine in Science and Technology, 2014.
