On Friday, June 13, representatives of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) and the University of Customs and Finance held a meeting dedicated to the signing of a cooperation agreement and discussing strategic directions for future collaboration between the two institutions.
The agreement was signed by Volodymyr Shulha, Rector of SUICT, and Dmytro Bocharov, Rector of the University of Customs and Finance.
SUICT was represented at the event by First Vice-Rector, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Oleksandr Korchenko; Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and social development Maryna Petchenko; and the Rector’s Assistant Serhii Kondratiuk.
The delegation from the University of Customs and Finance included: Volodymyr Zverev, Director of the Center for Cyber Intelligence and Security Innovation and Deputy Head of the Information and Cybersecurity Service of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine; Ihor Kozachenko, Coordinator of the Center; and Dmytro Prokopovych-Tkachenko, Head of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Technologies.
The meeting was held in a hybrid format. Dmytro Prymachenko, Vice-Rector for Research at the University of Customs and Finance, joined the discussion online and delivered a welcoming speech to partners and colleagues.
The signed agreement formalizes the parties’ intention to cooperate in the following areas:
Participants of the meeting emphasized the high potential for synergy between the two institutions, which will support the development of professional competencies among future specialists and strengthen national resilience in the information domain.
