On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the leadership of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) held an online meeting with representatives from Ningbo University of Technology (NBUT) and the China-CEEC Innovation Cooperation Research Center.

The Research Center for Innovation Cooperation between China and the CEE countries serves as a dynamic platform for fostering innovation, established under the auspices of China’s Ministry of Science and Technology. It was initiated by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the China–CEE Summit on February 9, 2021, and officially approved by the Ministry on June 30, 2021.

The China-CEEC Innovation Cooperation Research Center and Ningbo University of Technology are strategic partners in advancing innovation cooperation with CEE countries and promoting the implementation of joint achievements.

The SUICT delegation included:

• Volodymyr Shulha, Rector of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Senior Researcher,
• Oleksandr Korchenko, First Vice-Rector of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, State Prize Laureate of Ukraine in Science and Technology, Honored Science and Technology Figure of Ukraine,

In his welcoming remarks, Professor Wang Bo expressed keen interest in developing innovative partnerships with SUICT, highlighting opportunities for sharing best practices, organizing joint conferences, advancing digital education and management, and launching collaborative research initiatives.

Rector Volodymyr Shulha thanked the Chinese colleagues for their support and readiness to strengthen partnership during challenging wartime conditions.

During the meeting, both parties presented their key research areas, achievements, and international partnerships. As part of the discussion, Professor Wang Bo extended an official invitation to the SUICT delegation to visit Ningbo University of Technology and the China-CEEС Innovation Cooperation Research Center. The planned visit will include the signing of a Cooperation Agreement.

Closing the meeting, Rector Volodymyr Shulha emphasized:
