A working meeting was held at the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) between Rector Volodymyr Shulha and Anatolii Shevchenko, Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems, which operates under the dual authority of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

The primary objective of the meeting was to facilitate the practical implementation of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated April 18, 2025, which endorsed the proposal by the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine regarding the reorganization of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems through its integration into SUICT.

During the discussions, both parties agreed upon a comprehensive roadmap, encompassing key organizational and administrative actions required to ensure the reorganization process.

Particular emphasis was placed on ensuring the continuity of fundamental and applied research in the field of artificial intelligence, preserving the Institute’s distinguished academic and research excellence, and creating new opportunities for interdisciplinary innovation and educational advancement at SUICT.

“This integration represents a strategic milestone that will further solidify SUICT’s leadership in the fields of artificial intelligence education and research”, emphasized Rector Volodymyr Shulha.

In his remarks, Anatolii Shevchenko stated:

"We stand ready to incorporate the scientific achievements of our Institute into SUICT’s academic and research projects and programs, thereby contributing to a shared future of innovation and excellence."
