On Wednesday, March 26, a delegation from the State University of Communication and Informational Technologies (SUICT) paid an official visit to the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków (UKEN) as part of a working trip to the Republic of Poland.

The SUICT delegation was composed of:

• Volodymyr Shulha, Rector, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Senior Research
• Oleksandr Korchenko, First Vice-Rector, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor
• Serhii Kondratiuk, Professor of the Department of Public Management and Administration, PhD in Political Science, Assistant to the Rector

The delegation was warmly received by:

• Professor Piotr Borek, Rector of UKEN, Doctor Habilitatus
• Professor Robert Stawarz, Vice-Rector of UKEN, Doctor Habilitatus
• Professor Serhii Semenov, Rector’s Plenipotentiary for the Development of Information Technology and Telecommunications, Doctor Habilitatus

During the meeting, the parties reached a mutual understanding regarding the signing of a Cooperation Agreement, having coordinated its key provisions.

The discussion also focused on the prospects for joint academic and research initiatives, academic mobility programs for faculty and students, and the development of double degree programs between the two institutions.
