А methodical seminar “Peculiarities of using the Google Classroom platform in the educational process” was held at the English language department of State University of Information and Communication Technologies to get acquainted with the capabilities of this platform.

The head of the department, Anna Kolisnychenko, explained how teachers can easily and quickly create and check tasks in electronic form, as well as specify deadlines for submission. Attention was focused on the fact that tasks and works are automatically organized into a structure of folders and documents on Google Drive that is understandable to both teachers and students.

A. Kolisnychenko pointed out the advantages of the Google Classroom system and demonstrated how to work in the classroom. It is possible to publish theoretical material, tasks, assign grades in a journal, keep a calendar, etc.; problem-free organization of joint work; support for both English and Ukrainian languages; this service can be used both on a personal computer and on a smartphone and tablet, including with the help of special mobile applications.

To ensure the corporate ethics of correspondence, teachers of the department also generated a unified end signature of an e-mail.
