The President of Ukraine has registered in the Verkhovna Rada a draft law "On ratification of the ILO Convention on minimum standards of social security number 102 (hereinafter - the Convention)» (number 0091).
The bill provides for the provision of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine consent to be bound by the Convention Ukraine following sections:
• Chapter II "Medical Care";
• Section III "Help sickness";
• Section IV "Unemployment";
• Section V «old-age benefit";
• Section VI «Help in case of industrial injury or occupational disease";
• Section VII "family allowances";
• Section VIII "Assistance in connection with pregnancy and childbirth";
• Section IX "Help disability";
• Chapter X "Assistance to survivors."
The adoption of the bill will:
• bringing Ukrainian legislation in the field of social pro-BAKING in line with international standards, including the International Labour Organization standards;
• creation of conditions for Ukraine's accession to the European Code of Social Security as a whole.
As stated in the explanatory note of the bill does not require the implementation of amendments to the existing and development of new regulatory acts.
ILO Convention on minimum standards of social security number 102 adopted at the 35th session of the General Conference of the International Labour Organization in Geneva 06/28/1952. The bill will come into force for Ukraine 12 months from the date of the registration document of ratification of Ukraine in the Director General of the International Labour Office.
