On February, 25 in the State University of Telecommunications took place an information security quest «DUT CTF I». It was organized by a graduate of our University Sergey Korolenko along with BMS Consulting company where he works.

The quest provided 15 tasks of varying complexity. For each task, the participants received different amount of points. The one who obtained the maximum of points became the winner of competition.

Not only students of Educational-scientific institute of information security took part in «DUT CTF I» but also students of other faculties/institutes. But exactly the students of Educational-scientific institute of information security got into the top three. They received wonderful prizes from BMS Consulting. Namely:

1 place – Denys Sedlets'kyy, a student of BSD-21 group, won the smartphone Google NEXUS 5.

2 place ‑ Davyd Kurbanmuradov, a student of BSD-41 group, won a certificate for a free passing of an examination CompTIA Security+.

Ant the third place was taken by the student of Educational-scientific institute of information security, and the only representative of Georgia at the University – Niko Meladze, who became the possessor of professional headphones Scosche IEM856M.

Also, participants got stickers with different interesting inscriptions for implementation of the tasks.

BMSConsulting company promised that it is not the last competition they conduct in the State University of Telecommunications, and they will organize such projects for us in the future.
