On April 22 for the first time in Ukraine will be held a competition - Hackathon from NASA - Space Apps Challenge. Last year it was attended by 14,000 people! And this year the participation of students of our University.
It is the largest international Hackathon contest on solving real problems that arise in aviation and astronautics. For most purposes using information technology.
The final stage will be held on April 22-24 in the Kirovograd Flight Academy of NAU.
Participation is open to any person, fond of astronomy, physics, or know how to draw, design, write good lyrics and a space invaded by ideas and progress, something for you on the NASA Space Apps there is always a lesson!
You only need to create a balanced team. Optimal team size 4-6, however, it can be more.
Hackathon requires that you sign up a team, and get one of the 25 tasks to be solved by you is given 48 hours.
However, on the international stage will get only 3 projects: two for the decision of the jury and one of the contest People's Choice Award.
One of the members of the jury will be the head of the Department of Space systems and complexes and satellite telecommunications - Vlasenko G.M.
The competition has six nominations:
1. Better use of data;
2. Better use of iron
3. Best concept of mission;
4. Galactic effect;
5. The most inspiring;
6. Audience Award.
Prizes to the winners of the local tour companies provide the participating IT-Alliance, in particular, Volia, Kinekt-PRO and others.
A six teams-winners of the international stage will be able to take part in one of the launches at Cape Canaveral! But in general, the main prize in the Hackathon this kind for each participant is a project that has a real prospect to turn into a real start-up and get the support of NASA and the local organizers.
