October 10, 2014 an agreement was signed between the National Space Agency of Ukraine and the State University of Telecommunications on cooperation in space activities.

The Agreement is a partnership between the National Space Agency of Ukraine and the State University of Telecommunications in the field of space activities to promote the development and training of enterprises, institutions and organizations in the space industry with the use of the scientific potential of the State University of Telecommunications.

Key areas of cooperation - Cooperation in the field of space activities in key areas:

Coordination, joint planning and implementation of programs (projects, papers) to create information-management, geographic information, and other systems based on the use of modern space-based communications, navigation and remote sensing, in particular, the creation and implementation in Ukraine:

satellite navigation technologies based system for timing and navigation system in Ukraine using the information of global navigation satellite systems (hereinafter - GNSS);

satellite telecommunications technologies based on a national system of satellite communication and broadcasting "Lybid";

of remote sensing (hereinafter - ERS) based on space systems optronic observation "Sich"; reconnaissance and electronic information systems, space and special reconnaissance, electronic warfare systems and information warfare systems, cyber security and information protection.

Development of scientific and methodological apparatus of intelligent telecommunications and navigation systems of mobile objects.
Joint research and development of scientific and methodological apparatus in:
latest information GNSS / RS technologies;
radio and radar monitoring and radio frequency management objects of observation; ecological-economic monitoring; cyber security.

Promote the implementation of research results in the activities of the National Center for Control and testing of space vehicles.

Publication of materials and results of studies conducted in the framework of cooperation under this Agreement.

Development and publication of methodical documentation, manuals, textbooks, teaching materials, monographs, development of software solutions for their educational process at the State University of Telecommunications.
Training of qualified specialists and highly qualified specialists for the National Space Agency of Ukraine, the National Centre for Management and Testing of Space Resources, businesses and organizations in the space industry of Ukraine.
Gain practical orientation of the learning process in the field of satellite telecommunications, environmental-economic monitoring and cyber security.

Upgrading the skills of workers and training of students of the State University of Telecommunications.

Organize and participate in seminars, conferences and other scientific events.

Create and develop a legal and organizational support for the tasks of works (services) performed under this Agreement.
