From April 10 to May 10, 2025, Associate Professor Serhii Korotkov from the Department of Computer Engineering at the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) successfully completed an international teaching internship at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies under the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching programme.

During the internship, Serhii Korotkov delivered a series of lectures for IT students focused on the application of advanced information technologies in the field of e-commerce. Key topics included the use of artificial intelligence for personalised shopping experiences and consumer data analysis, the implementation of cloud computing solutions, blockchain-based transaction security, and the automation of digital business processes. This teaching engagement not only showcased the Ukrainian academic approach but also allowed for a deeper understanding of global trends in the industry.

Beyond teaching, Serhii Korotkov took part in several working meetings with representatives of the Faculty of Information Technologies. These meetings addressed opportunities for future cooperation between the two institutions, including joint courses, student exchange programmes, and collaborative research initiatives.

The internship serves as a strong example of SUICT’s commitment to expanding international cooperation and further integrating into the European educational landscape. The university consistently supports faculty participation in Erasmus+ programmes, facilitating the exchange of best practices, modernisation of academic programmes, and enhancement of education quality.
