On May 12–13, 2025, the VIII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Realities and Prospects for the Development of the Rule of Law in Ukraine and the World” was held with the State University of Information and Communication Technologies serving as a co-organizer.
The conference took place at the University of Rijeka (Croatia) and brought together participants from a wide range of academic and professional institutions. Among the international attendees were representatives from the University North (Croatia), Jean Monnet Inter-University Centre of Excellence in Opatija (Croatia), Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), National University of Singapore Business School (Singapore), Archdiocesan Charity Caritas Trnava (Slovakia), Shota Rustaveli State University of Batumi (Georgia), and E-SCIENCE SPACE (Poland).
Ukraine was represented by leading institutions, including Sumy State Pedagogical University named after A.S. Makarenko, State University of Information and Communication Technologies, Center for Strategic Innovations and Progressive Development, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University, Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav, among others.
In total, the conference brought together over 250 scholars from 34 Ukrainian higher education institutions. The event provided a valuable platform for presenting research findings, exchanging academic insights, and discussing the latest trends in science and education. The Department of Management of SUICT was actively represented by faculty members and master's students majoring in Management, who delivered research-based presentations during the conference.
The conference served as a dynamic platform for dialogue on key issues concerning the development of the rule of law, including human rights protection, European integration and values, social and legal reforms, economic challenges, and cybersecurity. The program featured panel discussions, roundtable sessions, and workshops, all contributing to a deeper understanding of the pressing challenges facing legal and socio-economic systems in times of global transformation.
The event emphasized the importance of international academic collaboration and demonstrated the value of strengthening ties across global scientific communities.
