The delegation of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) took part in the WSIS+20 High-Level Event – a major international forum dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS). The event is held on 7–11 July 2025 in Geneva, Switzerland, under the auspices of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
SUICT is the only Ukrainian university that holds academic membership in the ITU, which enables its representatives to engage in high-level global discussions on digital technologies, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable development.
The delegation was led by SUICT Rector, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Volodymyr Shulha. The university representatives attended the official opening ceremony, which featured remarks by ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin.

These sessions addressed the most pressing issues in the field of information and communication technologies, including transparent data governance, ethical AI deployment, digital inclusion, resilience of digital infrastructure, and green transformation.
Participation in WSIS+20 served as a significant platform for SUICT to engage in professional dialogue, expand its international network, and build partnerships with universities, public institutions, and tech companies from around the world.
