For two days, 25-26 February 2016 teachers of the Department Infocommunications Nedashkivskyy O.L., Tarbaev S.I. and Makarenko A.O. for employees of PJSC "Ukrtelecom", which were invited to the training conducted training on the theme "The concept of xDSL, FTTx, GPON, WIFI for building access networks."

The training covered the issues of хDSL technology and its use for the construction of access networks, terminal equipment VDSL, advantages and disadvantages of the VDSL technology, substantially technologies GPON and use to build access network, end-user PON equipment, the general concept of Optical Access Ttechnology (FTTx ) and the advantages and disadvantages of GPON technology.

The practical part consisted of the development of VDSL network architecture on equipment Huawei HG630 and GPON networks on equipment Huawei HG8245R, the characteristics of the design, calculation and maintenance of VDSL networks, application software PacketTraser virtual simulation to create IP-based network projects, reviews passive elements PON and methods of calculation and balancing optical segments passive optical networks.

As a result of the final inspection all participants received certificates of the successful development of the material.
