Company Keeper, which is developing applications class Password Manager, analyzed 10 million passwords that became public in 2016 because of leaks. As a result, the company's experts noted that in recent years a list of commonly used passwords undergone minor changes. So according to research Keeper, almost 17% of accounts are password protected "123456".
Four of the top ten list of passwords - and seven of the first 15 - numbered no more than six characters. In forming the majority of users are using unexpected combination of characters, for example: «1q2w3e4r» and «123qwe» and others.
Experience shows that such efforts aimed at securing information resources from unauthorized access as minimum- insufficient. The use of "weak" passwords only a few seconds, increase the time burglary.
One possible application of protective measures are primarily organizations of different ownership forms, password policies. This will significantly reduce the risks associated with unauthorized access to data, loss of information resources of compromise and so on.
