Galaxy S7 CPUs equaled the performance of the chip in the iPhone 6s new benchmarks

Developers AnTuTu benchmark published the rating of the top 10 most powerful chips for smartphones. According to the company's single-chip Exynos 8890 platform and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, a part of the flagship models of Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, equaled the performance of the CPU and graphics chip Apple A9 smartphone iPhone 6s.

Most likely, the next generation of Apple A10 processor in the iPhone 7 will break forth again. However, the current model, according to the benchmark, ceded the title of the most productive on the market. The highest test result showed CPU Snapdragon chipset 820, collected 136,383 points.

Qualcomm's latest chip, Apple managed to beat the A9, who finished second with a score of 132 657. At the same time, the processor Apple smartphones last year turned out to be productive chip firm Samsung - the latter finished with 129,865 points. These three processors are in the lead in the ranking of AnTuTu by a large margin from the other models.

Fourth place in the list took the Kirin 950 chip, which has found application in the flagship smartphone Huawei. The top five is another processor Samsung - Exynos 7420. Their result in AnTuTu - 92,746 and 86,652 points, respectively.

Previous leader in test CPU Snapdragon 810 was sixth with 81 indicator 049. Next, in descending order: 652 Snapdragon, Apple A8, Snapdragon 650 and Snapdragon 808, which shows the results of respectively 79,636, 79,100, 78,979 and 68,505 points.

The creators of the benchmark explained that both ratings indicate the average scores obtained on the basis of several tests.
