As part of the State University of Information and Communication Technologies’ (SUICT) ongoing collaboration with leading IT industry representatives, an informative workshop titled “AI Use Cases Introduction” was held on 24 June 2025 by Huawei. The event brought together motivated PhD candidates, master’s students, and undergraduates from the Departments of Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems and Technologies, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science of the Institute of Information Technologies.
During the workshop, participants explored real-world applications of artificial intelligence (AI) in Huawei’s products and solutions.
The session was led by Maksym Lebedynskyi, IP Solution Manager at Huawei, who demonstrated how innovative technologies are being integrated into everyday life and next-generation infrastructure systems.
Key topics covered included:
For students, the workshop served as a valuable opportunity to gain practical knowledge about the implementation of AI concepts and real-life use cases provided by Huawei. These included automated device operations, optimized data transmission, self-diagnosing networks, and machine learning–driven decision-making.
“The workshop was extremely informative. I was particularly interested in how AI is applied in Wi-Fi 7 and campus networks. It gave me new ideas for potential research projects,” shared Yefrem Alordey, a master’s student at the Department of Artificial Intelligence, SUICT.
“Such workshops are an important element in training future professionals who can confidently work with advanced digital tools and thrive in a modern technological environment,” noted Kamila Storchak, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies at SUICT.
