All departments of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Information Technologies (ESIIT) at the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) actively participated in the XIV International Scientific and Practical Conference “Mathematics. Information Technologies. Education,” held from June 13 to 15, 2025, at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University in Lutsk and the “Hart” educational camp (Shatsk district, Svitiaz village).
This prestigious academic event annually brings together specialists from leading universities across Ukraine and Europe. Among this year’s participants were representatives of:
SUICT’s doctoral students presented their research findings at the conference: Vladyslav Zavatskyi from the Department of Information Systems and Technologies, and Dmytro Kozlov from the Department of Computer Engineering. Their presentations generated lively discussions and strong interest from fellow participants.
“For me, taking part in the conference was a significant step in my professional development. It was not only a chance to present my own work but also to receive valuable feedback from colleagues at other universities,” noted Vladyslav Zavatskyi.
As part of the conference, a thematic seminar titled “Artificial Intelligence in Science and Education: Integrating European Experience” was held. The session focused on current challenges and practical approaches to integrating AI into educational environments. All participants received official certificates of attendance.
“This seminar provided me with new ideas for future research. The insights shared by colleagues from Polish universities about integrating AI into academic curricula were especially valuable,” shared Kamila Storchak, Head of the Department of Information Systems and Technologies.
Beyond presentations and seminars, the conference created a unique environment for networking, exchanging contacts, and establishing future scientific collaborations.
“We not only shared our own experience but also learned about cutting-edge research at other institutions. These connections open new opportunities for joint projects and inter-university cooperation,” said Iryna Kuzmych, Deputy Director of ESIIT.
SUICT’s ESIIT participants included:
Doctoral students:
Faculty and department heads:
“Such events help us better understand European trends in IT education and identify new partners for future research projects,” emphasized Nataliia Lashchevska, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering.
The participation of SUICT representatives in international academic events demonstrates the high level of research engagement and professional development within ESIIT. It also fosters deeper academic collaboration and supports the integration of our university into the European educational and scientific community.
