Social Communications play an important role in the life of every person, including students' lives. On November 7, Olena Dontsova, a senior lecturer of the English Department at the Educational-Scientific Institute of Telecommunications, together with the students of groups TCR 11 and TCR 12 of the Digital Technology Department of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Information Technology organized the training “Website as a tool of social communications”. Students tried themselves as coaches, demonstrating not only professional knowledge, but also language skills acquired in English classes. Social communications, as well as the language, are designed to help improve interaction with other people, both in educational establishments, business, and in everyday life. During any communication, it is important not only to be able to formulate your thoughts, but also to listen to the interlocutor, understand his needs and emotional state. Therefore, it is important for students to learn to be attentive to the interlocutor, ask questions, and express their opinions in such a way as to take into account the other person's point of view.
The development of students' social communication skills is of great importance, as these skills help them find a common language with others, build relationships, successfully resolve conflicts, and also increase self-esteem and self-confidence. One of the key aspects of the development of students' social communication skills is the ability to express their thoughts and feelings effectively. Communication means not only the transfer of information, but also the ability to express their emotions, ideas, and needs. Students should develop self-expression skills in order to be successful not only in their professional activities, but also in the society as a whole.
