On May 8-9, 2025, the city of Ternopil hosted the Second International Workshop of Young Scientists on Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Development. The event served as a platform for early-career researchers to present their scientific work and exchange innovative ideas.
The conference brought together young scientists from across Europe working in the field of artificial intelligence, all striving to develop creative solutions for the sustainable development of society. One of the key advantages of this event was the opportunity to engage with researchers from diverse academic backgrounds, share best practices, and establish international partnerships aimed at developing effective innovations.
The State University of Information and Communication Technologies (SUICT) was represented by Dr. Iryna Zamrii, Head of the Department of Software Engineering, along with doctoral students from the educational and research programmes Software Engineering and Computer Engineering. They delivered presentations showcasing their latest research findings in AI applications.
“I am grateful to the organizers for the thorough preparation and the opportunity to take part in such an inspiring event,” noted Dr. Zamrii. “The conference was an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, motivating further research activities, and gaining valuable experience in presenting scientific results for our doctoral students.”
