Scientific and methodical work

Scientific and methodical work of the Department is aimed at the learning process improving and the training of future specialists upgrading. The Department provides carrying out and implementing nowadays computer technology. It is working on the development of teaching aids for the learning process. It also deals with design of educational information in electronic form.

All teachers of the Department have extensive experience in research and educational work as providing a high level of training on environmental issues, life safety basics of occupational safety and health requirements for the telecommunications industry.

The LSB Department works on the development and improvement of new teaching materials for upgrading the quality of the study subjects. Particular attention is paid to the use of modern computer technology in the classroom. In recent years a number of scientific papers have been published.

Research Department

Teachers of LSB Department are involved in carrying out researches to develop a subjective approach to the analysis of crisis and extreme situations in which the security problem of life is seen not from a position of human and the environment confrontation, but in terms of finding the place and role of contemporary humans in the same conditions created by people.
