Dear colleagues!

We invite you to the International Scientific and Practical Conference DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION: STRENGTHENING THE CYBERSECURITY CAPACITIES IN THE MODERN WORLD, which will take place on 4-5 November 2025 at the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow, Poland (2 Podchorążych St., Krakow, 30-084).

 

Registration

  1. Complete the online registration form.
  2. Upload your paper/abstract (if submitting).
  3. Confirm participation by 29 October 2025.
  4. Receive an official invitation letter from the Organising Committee (by 30 October 2025). The invitation will be sent shortly after registration.
  5. Complete check-in and badge collection on 4 November 2025, from 09:00 at the venue.

About the Conference

The annual International Scientific and Practical Conference “Digital Transformation: Strengthening the Cybersecurity Capacities in the Modern World” will take place on 4–5 November 2025 in Krakow (Poland).

Organized by the State University of Information and Communication Technologies (Ukraine) and the University of the National Education Commission in Krakow (Poland) under the aegis of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the event will bring together more than 100 participants from academia, business, and government.

This conference serves as a global platform for experts, researchers, and practitioners to exchange knowledge, share research, and discuss the most pressing challenges in cybersecurity and digital transformation.

 

Focus Areas

The conference welcomes submissions across, but not limited to, the following domains:

  • Mathematical modelling and forecasting of cyberthreats
  • Cybersecurity in cloud environments, 5G, and future communication technologies
  • Organisational and technical support for cybersecurity
  • Cybersecurity in industry and critical infrastructures
  • Policy and regulatory aspects of cybersecurity
  • Social and psychological aspects of cybersecurity

Call for Papers

We invite authors to submit original research papers and practical case studies addressing the focus areas of the conference.

Conference Participation Requirements:

  1. The conference papers must be formatted according to the provided template (LibreOffice ODT or LaTeX).
  2. The length of the materials should be 5–8 full A4 pages. Please note that for correct use of the ODT template, the Libertinus font family must be installed. We do not recommend using Microsoft Word or Microsoft 365, as they often generate PDFs that do not meet the requirements.
  3. Each author may submit up to two papers.
  4. The number of authors per paper should not exceed five.
  5. Self-citation must not exceed 30% of the total number of references.
  6. The text must clearly convey the main content of the paper and include: a problem statement, a literature review, research goals, methodology, results, conclusions, and references.
  7. The submitted materials will not be edited. Authors are fully responsible for the scientific content, clarity of presentation, and accuracy of all data provided.
  8. The submitted papers have to be written in English and should be properly formatted.
  9. Materials not aligned with the conference topics will be rejected.
  10. Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings monograph (electronic copy free for all participants; printed copy available on request). The best papers will be recommended for extended publication in the scientific journal Information Security.

  13. Signed authors agreement has to be submitted together with paper.
    Author agreement variants:
  • AUTHOR-AGREEMENT (NTP): Authors shall use this form if they included no copyrighted third party material in their paper text (or accompanying sources, datasets), and no material in the paper was produced with the help of Generative Artificial Intelligence tools including tools based on large language models (LLM).
  • AUTHOR-AGREEMENT (TP): Authors shall use this form if they did include copyrighted third party material in their paper or accompanying material. They must then also attach a copy of the permission by the third party to use this material in the signed author agreement! Authors shall use this form if they did include copyrighted third party material in their paper or in accompanying material. Authors must append a copy of the permission(s) by the third parties to use this material to the signed author agreement!
