The DEPARTMENT of INFORMATION PROTECTION SYSTEMS (SPI) is part of the Educational-scientific Institute of information protection (ESIIP) State University of Telecommunications (SUT), which was established in 2004 for the preparation of highly qualified specialists and conducting scientific research on Informational security” in the conditions of Ukraine's accession to the Bologna process and the implementation at the University of credit-modular system of education.

The Department provides training of specialists of educational-qualifying levels:

• Bachelor 6.170102 System of technical protection of information.
• Specialist 7.17010201 System of technical protection of information, automation of its processing.
• Master of 8.17010201 System of technical protection of information, automation of its processing.

Classes are taught by experienced teachers and leading specialists of companies-developers of modern information systems and technologies.

State organs of the protection of information, the centre for services and information protection departments, regions, enterprises and other organizations of various forms of ownership are the sphere of professional activity of graduates.
